What kinds of pets do you care for?
We are experienced in the care of most household pets. We care for dogs, cats, birds, fish, rodents, ferrets, reptiles, and rabbits. If you have an exotic pet needing care please call us.

Are you insured and bonded?
Yes, we are fully insured through State Farm. With an optional property liability rider. This coverage is similar to a security bond, but offers more extensive protection to our customers. The added coverage we carry is provided for accidental breakage, mysterious disappearance and theft.

Do you board pets in your home?
No. We currently care for all pets in our charge in the comfort and safety of their own homes. This provides a secure, familiar environment to your pets. Your pets stay on their own schedule, the same familiar smells around their home not to mention their own toys, food, water bowls and their sleeping arrangements. This is proven to ease the stress of your pets during you absence.

What about vitamins and or medications?
Sure thing! We will to the best of our ability administer any vitamins and or medications your pet may require, at no additional charge. We will request detailed information at our initial meeting and if possible for you to show us exactly what works best for your pet.

How does your service work?
First we will make an appointment to meet with you and your pet prior to your pets' needs in your home. This "Meet and Greet" will take approximately 30 to 60 minutes. During this time we give you the opportunity to get to know us and watch how we interact with your pets. In addition, we will take this time to discuss our policies with you and answer any questions you may have. This valuable time also provides us with the opportunity to get to know your pet's individual needs and routines, so that we can provide a consistent, fun and loving experience for them while you are away. We will take notes, ask and answers questions to make sure we have the necessary information to properly and lovingly care for your pet as closely to the way you do. At this time we will offer to you our Key Holder Program.
This allows us to keep on file 2 (two) sets of keys, both marked with color and a code (which no personal information, such as name or address) to be stored in our office, safe and secure when not in use. 2 (two) sets of keys are required, in case of a key that is broken, does not work properly; locked in the house, etc…this way we have access to your home to care for your pets. Then, when it's time for you to travel, we will visit your home as arrangements were made, providing all of our services and plenty of love! We will also clean up any "accidents,"bring in the mail and newspaper, water plants, adjust blinds and rotate the lighting to give the house a "lived in" look while you are gone.

How do daily dog walks work?
Daily dog walks are designed for the pet owner who works away from home and are in need of a midday potty break, to administer medications, play and or walk your pet, tend to the liter box, give fresh water and leave you a daily report. Daily dog walks are perfect for dogs that are older, require more attention or dogs that are very active. We will make an appointment for an initial consultation, similar to a pet sitting consultation. We will come visit your pet every weekday between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m on any week days you require service, Monday through Friday.

How does your pet taxi service work?
Do you need to take your pets to the vet and the only appointment they had was in the middle of your workday? Or perhaps the groomer cannot fit your pet in, except during your working hours? Not a problem! We will make sure your pet makes it to appointments when you are unable to get away from work. If you have used us for sits or visits and we already have all of your information on file, the only thing we would need is a 24 hour advanced reservation Otherwise this service does require an initial meet and greet (free) consultation with you and your pet prior to your pet's first trip.

What kinds of animals do you pet sit?
We are able to accommodate dogs, cats, birds, fish, lizards, ferrets, hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, and rabbits. We can accommodate farm animals on a limited availability, please call for availability and pricing. All pets require one minimum visit per day, and dogs require a minimum of two visits unless a midday or puppy/value visit is required.

Why should I choose your pet sitting service over a kennel?
If you are like most pet owners, you have either boarded your pet or arranged for friends and neighbors to take care of your pet while you're away. However, transporting your pet to a kennel can be inconvenient, and friends may not provide the level of care your pet requires. It is often uncomfortable and awkward to impose on friends and family. It is also commonly known that pets do better in their own environment. We believe that our service is a great alternative to boarding facilities. Pets are happier staying in their own homes. We follow your pet's normal eating and exercising routines, which helps to keep them healthy, happy and stress free. At a kennel many pets become stressed being left in a strange environment, strange sounds and smells, surrounded by other unfamiliar animals. Not to mention your pet is at much greater risk to pick up an illness. You, the owner, will not have to be inconvenienced by having to bring your pets to and from the boarding facility. When you arrive home, your pets will be happily awaiting for you. Most importantly, we give your pets the "personal" touch with individualized love, attention, and companionship!

How do you get my house key and do you charge for this service?
We always require 2 copies of your house key when we pet sit. We offer our "Key Holder Program" for your convenience. The Key Holder Program allows us to keep 2 copies of your house key on file in a secured locked box in our office until your next reservation. Clients choosing the Key Holder Program never have to worry about paying the $10.00 fee, plus travel expenses for key pickup/drop-off once they fill out the service contract at the initial meet and greet. They can just call in for future pet sitting reservations. There is NO charge of key storage. If you would like your keys returned at the end of service, please leave a note stating so that upon your returned confirmation we can make arrangements to drop off your key for a $10.00 fee, plus travel expenses. With that said, we will not leave your keys on the final visit in case you are delayed and we need to get back in your home to care for your pets. Your keys are safe with us. They are color and secretly coded so no one would ever have any type of information as to whom they belong to and or where. The reason we require 2 sets of keys is quite simple, keys can break, get misplaced or the pet sitters accidentally lock themselves out of your house. We then have the backup key secured at our office. This provides uninterrupted service for you and your pets.

What happens if my pets need medical attention?
While we will do everything in our power to provide a safe and secure environment for your pets while you are gone, accidents and or illness can happen. We sincerely hope that doesn't happen, and we will do everything possible to prevent it. During the Initial meet and greet, we will provide you with a Veterinarian Release form to sign. This allows us to seek medical treatment for your pet should it become necessary in your absence. We also ask that you provide your vet with a copy of this form, so they can keep it in your pets file.

Do you provide overnights or stay in the home?
We do offer overnights and hourly care. Please see the rates and service page for more details. However, call well in advance as this service is performed on a first come-first serve basis.

How will I be charged for your services?
If you are a brand new client, payment is due at the time of the initial meet and greet before we start your service or left on the kitchen counter for the sitter to retrieve at the first visit. We accept Cash, Checks, Money Orders or Credit & Debit cards. For our existing clients we will leave an invoice for you during service and payment can be left. For your convenience we accept credit card/debit card payments through PayPal.com. If you have an e-mail account we can e-mail your invoice to you with a link to PayPal where you can securely make your payment online. Whichever method you choose, we found that most customers like taking care of the bill up front so they do not have to worry about it later. If you have a special situation, please ask. We will do our best to accommodate.

How will you keep my pets happy?
Whatever it takes! We will walk, play, cuddle, play ball, Frisbee or fetch, lots of hugs & kisses, or maybe they are better to themselves without too much attention, we will respect that too! We will pet, brush, and lots of pats on the head, with tons of praise! We will let them out, walk them or just play in the yard. We will clean up, making sure your home is tidy, neat and just the way you left it. Most of all we will give your pet the "Personal" touch!

Does my pet have to have a collar, tags and be on a leash?
YES!!! Not only will this provide a safe environment for your pets, but a more secure one too. Safer for your pets if we are walking and another animal approaches your pet, we then have more control and most times can prevent injury to your pet. In the event that your pet "dashes" having a color with tags will benefit us all. We will provide our own Pet Tags, as an added security measure, which we clip on their existing collar with all of our contact information as well. The only exception would be that you have a secure fenced-in backyard and then we would not require a leash.

What if we have an invisible fence?
If you have an invisible fence, we will not be held responsible for the loss of or harm to any pets that manage to escape the borders, although we will do our best to track them down and bring them home safely. We also clip our own ID tag on the pets collar that has contact information if the pet is found by someone else. But it is a good idea that you check the batteries on their collars BEFORE the sit begins.  Please let us know in advance if your pet has a history of escaping and their behavior (i.e.: Do they return home shortly? Or prefer to find the nearest pond and take a swim? Will they come when called or run away further from you, as they act as though they cannot "hear" you calling them?)  In the event of a power outage, pets with invisible fences will be walked on leashes.
